Those students applying this fall for the Rhodes/Marshall/ or Gates Cambridge scholarship, graduate awards for study in the UK. To be competitive to apply this fall, students should be planning a graduate program in the fall of 2008 and should have a 3.7 gpa or higher. Any major is eligible. Students who are currently enrolled in a graduate program may apply as long as you do not have a graduate degree. Students applying for the Rhodes must be younger than 25 at the time of application (their rule). No age limit applies to the Marshall or Gates.
Where:
Roaring River Inn and Conference Center at Roaring River State Park — The park provides an excellent opportunity for an evening hike, fishing or visiting the hatchery.

Time:
On Saturday, we will leave campus around 7:15 a.m. in front of the ADMN building. Please let us know if you need a ride to get there.
Events begin at Roaring River on Saturday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Room and Meals:
We will provide you with a room Saturday night. Two students per room.
Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast will be provided. Dinner is on your own. Other than the park restaurant, there are several restaurants (Pizza Hut, Subway, Sonic) in the town of Cassville, a 7 mile drive north. If you plan to eat at the park's Roaring River Inn restaurant, reservations are strongly recommended. Dinner at the lodge ranges from $7.95 – $16.95.
